Marika Ara Band from Helsinki, Finland does not believe that all the songs have been written. They want to dig down deep - create something that truely thrills, chills and fulfills. Songs come from singer-songwriter-pianist Marika Ara´s pen.
The music is melodic, moodily piano-driven and accompanied by the band's gritty style with a pop/rock accent. Marika Ara´s strong vocals take you on a journey from Delicate Ballads to Quirky Rock Anthems.
Lyrics play a central role in Marika Ara Band´s music as the songs feature strange excursions inside one´s mind, confessional themes and well as raw emotions put into notes and letters.
